Choose useful frames
A recognisable room layout, view or unusual fixture is more informative than a generic close-up of bedding. Avoid collecting images of private occupants or unrelated personal details.
Compare the claim
- Search two different listing photographs.
- Open matching property pages.
- Compare stated location, layout and listing dates.
- Verify the offer through the platform or a known property contact.
The same apartment may appear on several authorised agencies' sites. A photograph from a hotel in another city appearing in a private rental offer is a more specific discrepancy to resolve.
Keep the financial decision separate
Do not send deposits or identity documents because the photographs “look real” or produce no matches. A visual search cannot establish the advertiser's authority to rent the property. Use normal viewing and platform procedures, and treat pressure to skip them as a separate issue.
