Why Trace exists
A grid of similar images can feel more conclusive than it is. Trace puts the source page, the search method and the limits of the result back into the conversation. The goal is a workflow you can understand, from choosing a file to reviewing what a page actually supports.
What is available today
The workspace includes a fictional example report and a consented FaceCheck API test. Paid search is disabled. The restricted test index is useful for exploring the integration, not verifying identities or evaluating full-index coverage.
The public guide library explains image reuse, search methods, online-profile concerns and privacy. We do not claim proprietary search coverage, independent accuracy benchmarks or formal background-screening capability.
How we write
We prioritise direct answers, specific limitations and links to relevant primary documentation. Read our editorial policy for the approach to sources and updates. Start with the guide library or open the workspace to explore.
