Capture the useful context
Record the service, input filename, search date and source URL. Where appropriate, retain a dated screenshot of what you actually observed, keeping unrelated personal information out of sharing copies.
Use a durable note
- Open the source page normally.
- Copy its canonical-looking page address without private tokens.
- Describe the matching image and caption.
- Mark any inaccessible result as unverified.
A results link that works while you are signed in may not work for a colleague. The source page and a concise description make the finding easier to review independently.
Do not overcollect
Save only what your legitimate task requires. A photo-source check rarely needs every personal detail on the page. Revisit important links before acting, because a useful result from last month may no longer describe the live page accurately.
