Choose a straightforward image
Use an image of yourself or someone who has agreed to this use. Prefer even light and a face large enough to inspect. Remove unrelated people and private background information from the search copy.
Avoid editing the evidence
Beauty filters, face reshaping and generative restoration can change the details being compared. If the original is very small or blurred, artificial enhancement may invent information. Keep the original and do not describe the enhanced version as a faithful record.
Match the upload requirements
Facehunch accepts supported image files up to 10 MB and validates their file content. If an upload fails, check the format and file size before retrying. Repeatedly submitting the same file will not bypass a provider rejection or create index coverage.
Interpret the test correctly
Facehunch’s FaceCheck integration is locked to its restricted test index. A clear upload can demonstrate the request and results flow; it cannot validate full-index accuracy. See the troubleshooting guide if the process fails.
